We greatly appreciate your interest in adopting a pet. Please read before applying.

• Applicants must be 23 years or older.

• You must be ready to welcome a new family member right away. We are a foster-based rescue and can not put pets on hold.

• All of your current pets must be spayed/neutered, up to date with vaccines, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

• Processing your application takes about 3 to 5 days. If you haven't heard from us by then, email us for a status update at Info@hearforadoption.com.

• All dogs must be picked up from their Long Island foster home.

• We require a $8 non-refundable  application processing fee.  This fee doesn't guarantee approval or the availability of a particular dog. Availability changes daily.

• The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, and micro-chipping.
